In this Masterclass, Scenic Artists Leo Herreygers and Ione Milne show you how. Held in the Queensland Theatre Company workshop during the build for Into the Woods, spend four-hours hands-on with the materials, tools and techniques used to realise set design for the stage.

- Working across varying size, style, and scale
- What shapes the creative and technical craftsmanship
Who it's for
All levels of skill, ages 18 and above.
If you are an artist or maker working in any medium, this is a chance to encounter the processes and nuances of building for live theatre. If you are an early career artist, maker or student, it is a chance to deepen your knowledge of the craft and see what the job actually involves.
What to wear
This is an active workshop environment. Enclosed shoes and practical clothing you can build and paint in are required. Expect power tools and paint fumes.
