Scenic Design with Leo Herreygers and Ione Milne
Held in the QTC workshop during the build for Into the Woods, this four-hour hands-on workshop explores the materials and techniques that will bring this epic production to life.
Technical Masterclasses
The Technical Masterclasses are an initiative of The Jelley Family Foundation, and Queensland Theatre Company, created to invest in the future of the craft behind live theatre. Across two afternoons, our designers and artisans open the doors on sound and scenic design, working in situ on live productions in our theatres and workshop.
They exist to upskill, connect and inspire the people who will shape the theatre of the future.
The Masterclasses are for anyone drawn to the technical side of theatre: emerging and early career practitioners, students, and artists and makers from film, television, photography, live music and the visual arts who want to understand how design works on a live stage.
Open to all levels of skill, ages 18 and above.
