In 2020, Queensland Theatre will launch a new initiative, the Teaching Artist Program, a professional development program for eight Queensland based artists who are interested in developing or building on their teaching skills.

Queensland Theatre's Ensembles enable motivated, passionate and talented young artists to develop their skills at the State's flagship theatre company. During the year-long programs, participants will train with the country’s finest theatre professionals, see the pick of shows from the 2020 mainstage season, and engage in a variety of performance opportunities.
Queensland Theatre has secondment opportunities for tertiary students who are enrolled in a work place learning subject
TRW is a week-long theatre camp for students in the September school holidays. Students (Yr 9-12) participate in intensive skills development workshops, view live performances, network with leading artists and work with over 100 like-minded young people from all over Queensland.
