Parking at Queensland Theatre (Bille Brown Theatre)
Undercover Parking at Queensland Theatre
- Queensland Theatre’s undercover car park is located within the Queensland Theatre building, 50m away from the Bille Brown Theatre entrance. The best address for your GPS is 12 Boundary St, South Brisbane.
- The undercover car park has a 2.1m height clearance.
- Parking is $20 per bay and can be purchased with your tickets, through our website, over the phone or when you arrive at the theatre, pending availability.
- The car park opens 90 minutes prior to performance start times and closes 30 minutes after performances conclude. Our car park is strictly for patrons attending a performance at Queensland Theatre.
- If you have purchased prepaid parking, provide the booking name to the parking attendant and they will direct you were to park.
- If you require the use of the blue permit holder bay, please arrive as early as possible as it is not possible to reserve this bay ahead of time.
- If there is parking available to purchase on arrival you must give your car keys to the parking attendant, who will in exchange give you a parking voucher to present at the box office, prior to the show commencing, to pay. Please note Box Office is not currently accepting cash; payment can be made via Visa, Mastercard or contactless payment. Once your parking voucher has been redeemed you can give it back to the parking attendant in exchange for your keys.

Council Parking
Queensland Theatre is surrounded by on-street metered Council parking. Patrons can pay for Council parking via Council’s designated mobile payment service CellOPark. Please note Council is removing physical parking meters and payment for those zones can only be made via CellOPark. Queensland Theatre highly recommends downloading the app prior to your arrival.
- There is a Council car park located at 12 Boundary Street with 43 parking bays, including two blue permit holder bays. 40m from the Bille Brown Theatre entrance.
- There is a Council car park located at 15 Merivale Street with 22 parking bays, including two blue permit holder bays. 150m from the Bille Brown Theatre entrance.
- Surrounding streets that also offer on-street, metered Council parking include Montague Road, Cordelia Street and Boundary Street.
