A Season Ticket is a package that includes a minimum number of plays, purchased together at the same time. Once you purchase a Season Ticket you become a Season Ticket Holder and unlock exclusive discounts and benefits.
Package Size - choose from the full 8 Play Package or a smaller 6, 5 or 3 Play Packages.
Series - are the type of performances you can select. Each series has a different price point. Choose from:
- Previews - are the performances before the official Opening Night. The purpose of Previews is to allow the director, cast and crew to run the show in front of an audience, to identify problems and opportunities for improvement and to adjust the production so it is the best it can be. They can give a fascinating insight into the process of theatre making. For these reasons, preview tickets are offered at a reduced price.
- Weekdays – are Monday to Thursday performances, including matinees
- Weekends - are Friday to Sunday performances, including matinees
Zone - is the breakdown of seating locations. Each zone has a different price point. In Playhouse, QPAC choose from Premium, A-Reserve or B-Reserve. The Bille Brown Theatre is all A-Reserve. View the Playhouse Seating Map.
Price Type - is the price point of your tickets. Choose from:
- Adult (full price)
- Concession – discount is available to those that quote their Pension/Healthcare/DVA/Australian Government Seniors Card numbers or can provide a copy of their Full Time Student ID*. Business and National Seniors cards are not accepted.
- 35 & Under - discount is available to those aged 35 or younger at time of booking, who can provide a photo of official documentation depicting their birth year*.
Companion Card Holders – Queensland Government Companion Card holders receive a second ticket at no cost, if they quote their companion card number at the time of booking.

Yes, if you wish to sit with a friend, you must submit your Season Ticket bookings together at the same time. Groups will not be processed until every member has submitted their bookings.
We are committed to making our performances accessible to all theatre lovers. We offer a range of accessible services throughout our season including Auslan interpreted performances, Audio described performances with a Tactile Tour pre-show and Relaxed Performances. We also offer specific Aulsan and Audio Described Season Ticket packages, with suitable performances dates preselected.
You are not able to select your own seats for Season Ticket packages bookings, therefore during your Season Ticket package booking process you will be asked to give a brief description of your preferred seating location and if you have any access requirements. We will use this information, together with the current available seats, to determine your seating.
Some examples of access requirements are difficultly climbing stairs, low vision, hard of hearing, wheelchair seating.
Yes, you can. Select our Payment Plan at checkout to split your payment over eight fortnightly instalments.
Yes, Season Ticket holders can request an exchange for a different performance of the same production, so long as the request is submitted at least 24 business hours before the original performance date.
When permitted, Season Ticket exchanges will incur a $5 per-ticket exchange fee, except for 8 Play Season Ticket holders who receive complimentary exchanges. If exchanging for a more expensive Series (performance type), upgrade fees will apply.
All exchanges are subject to the exchange Terms and Conditions of Sale. To request an exchange please contact the Ticketing team by emailing sales@queenslandtheatre.com.au, phoning 1800 355 528 or by submitting an online exchange request form.
We recommend opting for e-Ticket delivery where possible. E-Tickets are sent via email and can be displayed directly on a smart device, so there’s no need to print your e-tickets. e-Tickets are emailed 3 days prior to each performance from sales@queenslandtheatre.com.au (remember to check junk, spam and promotions folders).
Alternatively, you can collect your tickets from the box office for each performance. The Bille Brown Theatre Box Office opens 90 mins prior to performances commencing. The Playhouse Box Office opens 60 mins prior to performances commencing.
Season Ticket holders can access $30 Replacement Tickets if you miss a booked performance or fail to request an exchange in time. To purchase contact the Ticketing Team.
