Audio Described performances and Tactile Tours
Queensland Theatre Company works with Vantagepoint to offer Audio Described services on specific performances.

Audio Description allows blind or low vision patrons to enjoy our shows by having trained describers capture in live narration the action, costumes, sets, transitions, gestures, facial expressions and lighting or special effects in performance. This service can be enjoyed from anywhere in the theatre, via a ListenTech assistive listening device. Upon your arrival, please go to the Box Office to collect your device.
Tactile Tours offer blind and low vision patrons the chance to touch and examine props and costumes and hear the cast and crew describe the visual aspects of the production. Tours start 90 minutes before the designated start time of the performance.
Dates for Audio Described and Tactile Tours are listed below. You can purchase single tickets to the dates below or package up your bookings with a Season Ticket Package and only pay $25 per show. Season Ticket Packages are available through the link at the bottom of the page.
