We're looking to assemble a passionate company of young creatives to work towards a performance outcome in the middle of the year. The program is designed for young people who intend to pursue the performing arts as a career - onstage or backstage. Auditionees need to have some experience in theatre-making and performance and be prepared to commit to the schedule in full. If you're looking to apply as an a performer, you need to prepare a monologue. If you're looking to apply to be part of the production or creative team, you need to prepare a mini-design pitch. We'll be looking for a combination of performers, creatives and designers. This group will work collaboratively as a peer group with Teaching Artists and Mentors to facilitate an opportunity for Young Artists to contribute to a production collectively and also to learn about the many varied roles in the theatre-making process. Scholarships are available based on financial need.
