Masterclass: Pride & Prejudice & Performance
This Masterclass is open to students aged 14-18 years, and in Grades 9-12 only.
Step inside the rehearsal room and sharpen your performance skills in this hands-on workshop led by actors from the original Regency rom-com Pride & Prejudice.
Three rotating one-hour sessions each explore a different aspect of performance, giving participants the opportunity to learn directly from the cast. Discover how to build bold, unforgettable characters with Andrew Hearle (Mr Darcy) and Maddison Burridge (Elizabeth Bennet); master movement and physical storytelling with Perry Mooney (Jane Bennet) and Stephen Hirst (Cover); perfect the timing and precision of comedy with Amy Ingram (Miss Bingley) and Cameron Hurry (Mr Collins).
Using the same techniques developed in rehearsals, these workshops offer practical tools and insider insights you can take straight into your own performances, auditions, and classroom work.

Eligibility
This Masterclass is open to students aged 14-18 years, and in Grades 9-12 only. It is not suitable for those aged 13 years and under.
Additional Information
- Participants need to ensure they wear enclosed shoes, and comfortable clothing that provides them with coverage and allows them to move freely.
- Please bring water bottles and snacks.
- Participants cannot leave the venue without a parent or legal guardian escort once they arrive at the venue.
