QTC and RSM Australia Take Centre Stage Together
There’s nothing quite like the return of a crowd favourite - especially when it brings along something new.
We are thrilled to welcome RSM Australia as Queensland Theatre Company’s newest Production Partner – and what a way to start our partnership journey together than with the return season of our 2025 sell-out production, Pride & Prejudice.
For more than a century, RSM Australia has supported clients with their assurance, tax and consulting needs, growing from a small husband‑and‑wife team into a leading professional services firm with more than 2,200 professionals across 32 offices nationwide. Within this strong national network, RSM Brisbane is a cornerstone office, home to nearly 140 professionals led by Steve Healey, Office Managing Partner, alongside 16 Partners and Directors across nine service lines. Known for its collaborative culture, strong community presence and distinctive client experience, the Brisbane team builds trusted, long‑term partnerships with clients, working alongside them as true advisors to navigate change with confidence. This commitment to collaborative client relationships has underpinned RSM’s national success, including an eight‑year streak of Client Choice Awards for Best Accounting and Consulting Services Firm (>$300m) from 2019 to 2026.
Great partnerships, like great theatre, are built on connection. On understanding people, and making those moments that stay with you and connect you long after the lights come up.
RSM Australia’s belief in “The Power of Being Understood” resonates deeply with what we do every day in theatre—bringing audiences together, inviting them into a shared story, and helping them see and celebrate all the wonderful and diverse people that make up our community.
As RSM Australia’s Brisbane Managing Partner, Steve Healey, puts it:
“There’s a real buzz you feel with theatre - the kind that’s hard to replicate anywhere else. It’s something our team has already experienced with Queensland Theatre Company, and we kept coming back to how powerful that shared moment is. We want our clients and QTC’s audiences to feel that too - to step into something a little different, and come away from it energised and connected.”
Criena Gehrke, Chief Executive of Queensland Theatre Company, shared:
“Partnerships like this show that organisations such as RSM Australia aren’t just observers - they’re instigators, collaborators, and key contributors to the stories we tell and the experiences we create together. Queensland Theatre Company is on an exciting trajectory, and it’s wonderful to see that energy resonating across our corporate community. Pride & Prejudice is a fantastic place to start our partnership with RSM Australia, and we can’t wait to share many more moments and productions with them in the future.”
