Scare on the Air
Call out for young storytellers based in regional Queensland.

Have you ever wanted to write your very own podcast episode?
In partnership with Matriark Theatre, we’re assembling a team of young regional storytellers, aged 13 – 17 years, based further than 100kms from the Brisbane CBD, to write and record spooky stories for an exciting new podcast. You’ll have the opportunity to:
- develop your storytelling skills through workshops
- receive mentorship as you write your story
- professionally record your story
- have your story released as a part of a new podcast series launching this Halloween
- receive a fee for your story
About the program
The
entire program will take place over Zoom video conferences, so no
matter where you live in Queensland, we want you to apply. There is no
cost to apply or participate in the program. All you need is a stable
internet connection and a love of spooky stories.
This
is a fantastic and unique opportunity to gain experience in broadcast
media – don’t miss it!
