Theatre Residency Week

Theatre Residency Week is an intensive theatre camp for students in Years 9-12. Running since the company’s inception 54 years ago, it is the longest-running theatre program of its kind in Australia.

Over the past five decades, young actors from around the country have attended Theatre Residency Week and participated in workshops and performances.

Queensland Theatre is proud of the impact this program has had across generations of theatre artists.

THEATRE RESIDENCY WEEK BRISBANE

Young artists from all over the country have attended the yearly camp and participated in workshops, masterclasses, forum discussions with practising theatre makers, and attended incursions and excursions.

In 2024, Queensland Theatre is once again hosting Theatre Residency Week on the grounds of the beautiful Stuartholme School.
