Character designs for Boy Swallows Universe

Award-winning designer Renée Mulder has created a detailed suite of character designs for our upcoming production of Trent Dalton's Boy Swallows Universe adapted for the stage by Tim McGarry. A huge amount of work has gone into preserving the 80s authenticity of the book, from August's striped pyjamas through to Eli Bell's ‘words’ interview tie. Watch out for the infamous Bich Dang's emerald green ensemble for Tytus Broz's birthday dinner. It's a real show stopper.
