"There’s something in the water, and it could sink a whole town."

In a small Norwegian town far from all others, a tight knit community thrives on the profits the local springs bring in from tourists year to year. When the town’s physician discovers a contamination in the water supply, he alerts the authorities. But when an inconvenient truth is placed at the altar of the economy, sacrifices must be made. For Dr Thomas Stockmann, he must decide whether to destroy a town’s reputation or his own before the media, government and the people decide for him.

A classic in its own standing, Arthur Miller’s reimagination of Henrik Ibsen’s 1882 play is brought to life onstage to ask what the cost of a truth is, and who must pay.
