Big Scary Animal previously produced a sold-out season of Savage in Limbo in 2018; and co-produced the critically acclaimed Anatomy of a Suicide in 2021 at Metro Arts. Both yielded Matilda Award acting nominations. Big Scary Animal is a collaborative banner for NIDA alumni, Julian Curtis and Zoë Houghton.

The Reaction Theory was founded by Egan Sun-Bin in his first year of university and was kick started through the Jennifer Blocksidge Memorial Award sponsored by the Blocksidge Family. It aims to create contemporary theatre for audiences aged 18-29 as to highlight and elevate the performances of emerging and mid-career artists in Meanjin.
Previous achievements include The Unspoken Word is Joe, and the award-winning shows More of Us and Love React.

The Nest Ensemble (co-founded in Brisbane in 2004 by Margi Brown Ash and Leah Mercer) is a dynamic collective of theatre artists who generate performances and workshops that deal in ideas, imagination and transformation of ourselves and our environment. Working between Brisbane and Perth since 2007, they seek to create a theatre of risk and compassion by engaging in constructive and generative conversations that build connectedness and sustainability for ourselves, our artists and our audience/participants.
Original shows include Queer as Flux, Eve, HOME, Joey: the Mechanical Boy, A Mouthful of Pins and The Knowing of Mary Poppins.
